Which Mobile OS Is Winning At The End Of 2008?

Being on Google all the time, I tend to use the trends feature on Google quite often. It gives you an Insight into almost anything on the planet. After Google made Android opensource, I thought of checking the search popularity of Mobile Operating Systems.
I compared Android, Symbian and Windows Mobile on Google Trends to find the rise or fall in popularity of these OS in 2008.
As seen in the screenshot above, Windows Mobile seems to be winning in search volumes at the end of 2008. Symbian remains at No.2 with no growth seen in search volumes. Android is at No.3 but seems almost ready to overtake Symbian - probably going open source has helped it through news or blogs in building up the search volumes.
