Retrevo Forecasts Top Electronics Winners & Losers For 2009

Retrevo, a Sunnyvale-based startup has come out with it's forecast of Top Winners and Losers in consumer electronics products for 2009.
Retrevo collects much of it's data from 3 million people who use the site's search technology to shop, buy or request customer support; and they also crawl the Web for reviews, comments and product manuals and analyzes them. Plus, all of the major retailers feed Retrevo with data on their product prices.
Retrevo then comes up with a forecast based on a combination of all this data.
For 2009, they have just released the list of Winners, which includes: Home theater systems, laptops(esp netbooks), digital cameras, high-definition televisions and Blu-ray DVD players
Their forecast on next years' Losers include: Cell phones, MP3 players, desktop printers and GPS systems.
