The people who had the brains to buy some smart domain-names back when Internet carved animals in caves, are currently rich.
Seriously, soon everyone will have a site of their own, and even more so, make money from it. Porn.com is a nice start. MXN Ltd paid $US9.5 million ($11.4 million Australian) for that domain, which 1997 sold for "only" $US47,000.
Other crazy domains that've sold for crazy money are, of course, sex.com ($11m), cameras.com ($1,5m) and scores.com ($1,2m).
Anyone wanna buy gizmopeek.com? Only $500,000 or highest bid, so take the chance right away!
