Motorola RAZR 2 introduced
May 15th 2007 20:42
I have never owned a Motorola, mostly because my dad had one a very long time ago and brainwashed me to hate them, since he obviously wasn't pleased. I understand Motorola's phones have evolved though, so I wouldn't mind one sometime in the future.
I'm sure you know about the Motorola RAZR, one of the biggest sellers the last couple of years. I remember visiting Germany and my friend was like "almost EVERYONE here got the RAZR".
Now it's time for the follow-up, the RAZR 2. It'll be made in three versions - HSDPA, CDMA and GSM/EDGE. Some of these versions will run Motorola's JUIX Java Linux platform, a positive feature.
The functions are generally the same, but some nice adjustments are made. If you didn't think the previous one was thin, now it's 2mm thiner. Then it got two sharp screens, 2" external and 2.2" internal, and a camera with 2 mpx. I'm impressed actually.
Release is unknown, but expected during the third quarter of this year. No price either, but the first one had $500 so probably somewhere close this time too.
