Google EyeBox will Count Eyes
May 10th 2007 09:49
If you know any ways Google can make more money, don't bother. They already know what you know.
The next thing in line is the EyeBox, a thing that counts how many eyes look at a certain place, like a billboard or other physical spaces. Together with Xuuk, Google will provide it to advertisers that are curious at how many actually give a darn about their ads.
Of course this way Google gets hold of all the statistics as well, using them to plan their next move into conquering the moon. Or web.
The EyeBox will cost $1000, not a small amount but good compared to the $25 000 other worse systems cost. It's supposedly able to count the eyes from passing people up to 32 feet away. Not bad.
One thing's for sure, we're gonna see more nudity in ads from now on. It'll be a fight of who can attract most eyes.

I guess it's some kind of infra red or similar that read our eyeballs... Not as simple as it sounds though.
I'm glad you like the site, means a lot.
