AN EXCUSE TO BUY AN IPHONE OR A BLACKBERRY

My intention is never to demean, but given the similar functions of most smart phones, I didn't think it wise to spend more on a cell phone that simply does almost practically the same things its less expensive brethrens do.
What cell phone unit, for example, cannot browse the web, has no camera, don't play recorded music and video, won't carry office files (such as word, excel, powerpoint, etc., don't send text messages and oh, cannot be used for voice calls these days?
Ok, so not all cell phones can do all that. But there are always cheaper alternatives.
What changed my mind? Well, a mobile forex trading platform offered by some brokerage house did it for me.
I'm just in the process of getting myself acquainted with Forex trading, but if there's anything I immediately noticed about this thing, it is the need for some agility - the ability to get in and out of one’s position depending on the movement of the market.
Obviously, that ability becomes more important when the market moves against you.
Now, other people can stay glued to their computers for the most part of their daily lives. I cannot. I need to move a lot. When I travel, I will still be lugging around my laptop computer along with the mobile phones that I use as modem to connect my laptop to the internet.
But in between stops when I do not have enough time to boot the notebook and use a more comfortable internet browsing equipment, the IPhone or a Blackberry will serve the purpose.
No, I am not abandoning my old and dependable cheaper cell phones units. It is just that I tried installing the trading platform software in them but they will not work. The trading platform software supports only IPhones and Blackberries.
So now, I guess, I already have an excuse to get either an Iphone or a Blackberry. Now, which one is it going to be?
