Samsung Launches Its First Android Phone

The South Korean electronics firm, Samsung today unveiled the I7500, a new smartphone based on Google's Android software.
The I7500 will be available in major European countries starting from June, the company said. Samsung did not reveal pricing nor when will it be available in other markets worldwide.
Samsung I7500 can connect to mobile phone broadband services through HSPA (High Speed Packet Access) as well as Wi-Fi, and would feature 3.2-inch touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera and 8GB of internal memory. At 11.9 millimeters thickness, this could be a serious competition to the other Android phines from HTC and T-Mobile launched earlier.
